What to do when you want a really nice Valentine’s Day Dinner — but are also budget conscious? Well, you make your own dinner of course.
This year, we decided to cook our own meal instead of visiting The Gandy Dancer (which was a restaurant we visited almost a year ago). But again, this year we decided to splurge a little bit on ingredients, but also keep it much more economical than going out to an expensive, fancy restaurant.
The menu:
- T-Bone Steak for Fred (iron skillet)
- Salmon for Yeni (coconut crusted)
- Rosemary Garlic Potatoes
- Creamed Spinach
- Caesar Salad
- Dancing Bull Cabernet Sauvignon
Great dinner… and felt much better on the wallet. Plus — the food and atmosphere was better than anything we could have had outside our home.
