Dream Day Cakes special event cake
GAINESVILLE, FL — Dream Day Cakes received a request from their friends at Masterpiece Weddings to create a custom decorated event cake for the grand opening of Photography 35. Some requests you simply do not refuse.
Photography 35, a Gainesville Florida based photography business, has been serving the North Florida region since 1980. After moving from Northwest Gainesville to Newberry Road, the studio help an open house event to show off their new pad. To further establish the “small world” factor, the old Photography 35 studio is now…. Dream Day Cakes.
For their event, Dream Day Cakes supplied a black and white custom decorated fondant cake, complete with edible logo. The cake consisted of 3 tiers:
- A 12 inch tier with 5 layers of classic vanilla cake and 4 layers of the Dream Day Cakes famous Cookies & Cream buttercream.
- A 8 inch tier of 5 chocolate cake layers with 4 filling layers of soft chocolate buttercream.
- A 6 inch, 5 layer classic vanilla cake with 4 filling layers of rich, Bailey’s buttercream.
Of course, the entire cake was wrapped in Dream Day Cakes fantastic, handmade fondant.
