6 months into our marriage, the big news is the BIG addition to our family. And, it’s a Kitchen Aid.

Both of us have always wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer and thanks to our family and friends, another dream came true. Our mixer has been christened by both bread and cake. We’ve posted some photos on the Picasa site of Yeni in action.

Where Dreams Come True

Cedar Point

Yeni, her parents, a great friend of Fred’s from college, and Fred headed to Cedar Point over labor day… Yeni got to ride some great rides… and Fred got a reminder that it’s time for a diet.

Three down, a zillion to go.

How do you celebrate three months together? You do it in a car, driving 2,000 + miles in 3 days. You don’t get to spend more time together than a road trip on I-75.

Highlights included:

• Saying hello to monkey
• “Visiting” many a cracker barrel (visiting is using the facilities)
• Meeting Michael Anthony and visiting his store (take his advice, eat more cake!)
• Eating Kentucky Fried Chicken in… Kentucky

Sometimes telemarketers just don’t respond to a simply and polite “no thank you.” Well, when you work in telephony, like Fred does, you have an endless arsenal of tools at your disposal to help stop the annoyance of unwanted solicitation.

Fred recently posted an article on VoIP Tech Chat, complete with audio examples, of how he handled one company that called him many times a day (looking to save him money on long distance).

Second Month – Check!

Second verse, same as the first! We’ve now been married for 2 great months and June saw us take a fantastic 1300 mile ride to New York on the Harley, visit the Arboretum (to see some flowers), and just spend some great time with our great family.
